Musical Celebrity Susan Brace Guest Is Moving Further North

A well known viola player of Gulbenkian Orchestra and Welsh National opera, Susan Brace Guest, is moving further north leaving her place vacant at the La Siesta Church where she was an organist till now.

After her birth in Llanelli, South Wales, Susan worshiped at St. Paul's Church and worked as a deputy organist during her teenage. She completed her music study at Reading University and later on, after 2 years of piano teaching, took her training of viola and piano at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

She gain popularity after her work as a viola player in the Gulbenkian Orchestra in Lisbon, Portugal. And for 10 years she was the part of Welsh National opera. She has also worked for a lot of other orchestras and music groups as a freelancer.

In 2002, Susan (or Sue) along with her husband Ted took her retirement to stay in Spain and since then became the full time piano accompanist in a famous Torrevieja Gilbert & Sullivan Society.

Presently being associated with the La Siesta Church, as an organist, which is a Evengelical Church and is honored for its good singing, the chorus will definitely miss her presence after her move further north. The knowledge and experience that she had may never be filled up by anyone else in her place, at least not for them.

This Sunday, 24th March, 2013 the chorus will be singing Beethoven's Hallelujah Chorus from her oratorio “The Mount of Olives”.
