Our move coordinators often get questions regarding the finer aspects of the move that is soon to happen. The questions we get vary from the size of the truck, to how the men pack the items into the truck, to how and when the payment is to be made.
In this blog, we're going to tell cover a few of the techniques of our professionally Trained Movers so that you can have a better idea of what to expect during your move.
- In order to further protect your belongings against the risk of damage the guys will have bright pink bubble wrap and shrink wrap which they will use to cover your items.
They will place your mattresses and large objects in first - if you have a flat-screen or plasma TV, they will carefully place the wrapped screen in between mattresses for further stability and protection. The mattresses will be upright against the side of the truck and will be secured with sturdy, heavy-duty straps.
- None of your furniture will be thrown in haphazardly; everything will be placed in carefully and secured to the truck with precision.
- Once your item is placed in the truck and before it is secured with the strap, a padded moving blanket will be draped over top.
- Our guys are more than capable of doing balcony lifts for those tricky moves where furniture just won't fit any other way. Once the item has been wrapped and draped with a moving blanket, our secure straps will be tied around the object. Two men will stand on the balcony and very carefully lower or raise the item as the third man steers it to safety.
