  • Q Why do I need a warranty is the move not already covered?
A We do have public liability insurance but you would have to prove that the removalists were negligent and also we have transit insurance which covers your items whilst transiting between your pick up and your drop off. Which Warranty do you wish to avail of today?

  • Q If they don’t finish in my time slot will they keep working?
A The time slot is purely the start time for the move. The guys will keep working until they have completed the move, remember, no job is too big or small. They will be with you between those times and give you a call when they are around 30 minutes from your pick-up address.

  • Q In your experience how long does it take to move X size houe?
A Everybody is different and so is every move! It would be impossible for me to give you an exact time that the move would take and there are lots of factors that affect this. Obviously they will work as hard as they can to get your move done in the shortest possible time. Being ready to go will decrease the time and making sure the access is great will speed the process up and keep your costs down.

  • Q Am I being charged double while the drivers are driving, since you charge per minute and per kilometre?
A The rate per km is the same as the rate per minute, however this does mean you are being charged double. They are added together separately at the end of the move. For example if you driver 10km in 5 minutes at a rate of $1.70, you would be charged $17 for the distance and $8.5 for the time.

  • Q How long will my move take?
A Given good access it takes 1-2 hours for 2 guys to load up a full 4 tonne truck. If there are staircases or more than a 20m walk to the truck, at least another hour will be needed. The drive there is subject to traffic conditions and then unloading is approximately 2/3 of the time taken to load, given good access. The drivers are Fit, Fast, Professionals, and will get the move done as fast as possible. If you have more than a 3 bedroom house to move, we can send a team out to do a fixed quote.

  • Q If the truck is stuck in traffic, will I still be charged for the time?
A The time starts from the moment the guys arrive at your property, unlike a lot of companies we do not charge a call out fee to your property. Once they have secured all your items safely and securely in the truck they will endeavour to get to your new property as efficiently as they can. Obviously certain things such as traffic are out of our hands and it would be in the minute cost. But remember a few extra minutes will not be rounded up to a full hour like other companies!

  • Q What happens if I have more m3 than the m3 I have booked?
A If on the day you have more than originally anticipated, we can help! We may have space on the truck for your items to go and extra space can be bought on the day directly from the driver!

  • Q What happens if my stuff does not fit into one truck on the day of the move?
A There is a space estimator in the moving tools section on our website. There is also a link to it on your confirmation email. As we only have 4 Tonne trucks in most states (10T in Sydney), If you will be moving more than 22 cubic meters, we will need to upgrade your move to 2 trucks. On the day, we can arrange for the drivers to do a second trip subject to availability, however when this happens, you are charged for the kilometres driven on the way back to the house for the second load.
